Perfumes crafted for a luxurious lifestyle

Grasse, 1972, mid-Twentieth Century, and the present day

Organe at Fragrances Essentielles

Growing up in Grasse, the heart of French perfumery, Nicolas Gabriel Chabert, the founder of Parfums Zéro Six Cent-Trente (Parfums 06130), was surrounded by fragrance legends. From a young age, he evaluated his family’s creations, learning to appreciate the subtleties of each scent. His uncle, Jacques Chabert, crafted icons such as Samsara for Jean-Paul Guerlain and Cristalle for Chanel, while his father, Claude Chabert, created an array of exquisite perfumes, including L’Eau des Incroyables, a French Revolution commemorative scent for L'Artisan Parfumeur.

At 15, Nicolas took his first summer job in a perfume factory named Cavallier Frères, an Eighteenth Century sompany located and operating on the Robertet factory grounds in Grasse. There, Nicolas spent the summer blending formulas under the guidance of master perfumers and closely observing every step in a perfume’s creation. He studied the intricate extraction processes for raw materials like moss, vetiver, and iris, gaining a deep respect for the craft and quality for which Grasse is known.

Nicolas launched Parfums 06130 with an unwavering commitment to quality and artistry. His childhood friend, Raphaël Haury, crafted the company’s first fragrances, Cèdre and Yuzu Rouge, as unisex eaux de toilette, setting a high standard from the start. Nicolas collaborated closely with Raphaël and handled every detail, from designing the brand’s visual identity to building personal relationships with renowned retail partners like Barneys New York, Bergdorf Goodman, Louis Boston, Forty Five Ten, Aedes de Venustas, and Parfumerie Hyazinth in Switzerland.

In 2019, Nicolas expanded his vision by releasing an elegant Eau de Parfum collection crafted by his uncle, Master Perfumer Jacques Chabert. These scents capture opulence and refinement, each possessing a unique essence that lingers, like the soft glow of twilight over the Mediterranean hills.

Now, Nicolas has taken on the creation of Cèdre Mystique, handling every aspect of this elegant fragrance himself, from concept to its ethereal formulation. This evocative scent opens with notes of black tea, lemon, and bergamot essential oil, unfolding into heart notes of neroli, jasmine, and a rich blend of cedarwood, sandalwood, and oud samrat. This olfactory symphony settles with a lingering base of oakmoss, ambergris, white musk, and labdanum, enveloped in the warmth of fir balsam, vanilla bean, and olibanum incense. Cèdre Mystique embodies a vision of timeless allure and sophistication.

In spring 2025, Parfums 06130 will also unveil a luxurious line of handmade, organic perfumed soaps, along with a highly anticipated, confidential collection to be revealed upon its release.

Join us on our journey of exquisite olfactory discovery as Parfums 06130 continues to honor the legacy of Grasse, sharing with you fragrances of unparalleled quality and elegance.
